Hey FinTech Fanatic!
I have an exciting announcement today: I’m launching the FinTech Running Club partnership with Checkout.com!
As many of you know, the typical networking at events and meetups often involves sitting with a cup of coffee or standing at a bar with a drink in hand.
Don’t get me wrong—those are two of my favorite activities 😉 But I thought it was time for a fresh, more active way to bring the FinTech community together. And that’s how the idea of the FinTech Running Club was born.
Over the past few days, you may have noticed some posts on social media where I asked for your help in choosing a logo. Thanks to your votes, option A emerged as the clear winner.
I want to sincerely thank everyone who voted—it means the world to me, and it’s been amazing to see so many of you get involved and reach out afterward.
I’ll be organizing pop-up runs at various events and locations I attend, so make sure you sign up for the club to receive notifications about when and where these runs will take place.
But this is just the beginning. It’s not about me—it’s about the FinTech community, including YOU.
If you’d like to host your own local FinTech run, you can sign up here, and we’ll be in touch soon to help you get your local FinTech community out for a run and some networking.
I plan to join as many of these runs as possible so I can meet all of you in person—both during and after a good run!
Lastly, I couldn’t think of a better partner to organize these runs with than Checkout.com.
They’ve organized runs at events like Money2020 before, and they even have their own running club called “Pick up the Pace.”
Over the next year, we’ll be co-hosting several runs together, starting with our very first at Checkout.com's enterprise payment leaders summit, “Thrive” in Barcelona, Spain, on Wednesday and Thursday morning!
So lace up your shoes, and I hope to see you soon at one of our runs around the globe. Let’s get the FinTech community moving and meet each other in a whole new way!
Cheers,
